OUR GIN

Urban Rhino London Dry Gin is made to a simple and refined recipe of just six botanicals.

It is a classical version of a London Dry sipping gin. It builds on the familiar juniper foundation with a flavour of citrusy blossom from lemon peel, a warmth from coriander seed, and a refined gin taste from a delicate blend of orris root, cassia bark and liquorice root.

Gin enthusiasts get to enjoy an exceptional drink - and actively contribute to the fight against rhino extinction.

OUR RUM

Urban Rhino African Spiced rum is a clear, medium gold colour with an aroma which is both fresh and citrussy with notes of warm baking spices.

It is medium sweet on the palate but a pronounced intensity. The spirit has a silky texture with peppery notes on the tongue. Initial orange and ginger-warmth hits at the front of the palate and fills the mouth. Ginger is then joined by baking, spices, which are cut through by lighter citrus-notes. The finish is medium in length with some complexity. Light, sweet floral vanilla presents itself towards the end, whilst a subtle earthiness builds as time goes on.

THE DISTILLERY

We distil at the multi-award-winning Henley Distillery with master distiller Jacob Wilson. He’s responsible for the World Gin Award in 2022 for the BEST LONDON DRY GIN. So, we have gone to the best. The whole process is a labour of love made in 300l alembic stills heated over open flames. This small-batch gin can be distilled to make over 300k bottles per year. But volume is not an issue.
